You can start reselling attar in Pakistan with Rs 50,000. Spend about Rs 10,000 testing 4 oils in 100ml, then around Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000 on 1kg of your best seller, and keep the rest for bottles, packaging and ads. One kilogram of oil fills roughly 80 bottles of 12ml.

A Rs 50,000 starting plan
- Test (about Rs 10,000): buy 3 to 4 oils in 100ml. Mix a musk, a fresh scent and an oud so you learn what your customers like.
- Restock (Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000): buy 1kg of the oil that sold fastest. Musks are the cheapest place to start.
- Bottles and packaging: get quotes from local bottle suppliers for 6ml and 12ml roll-ons or dabbers, and add a simple label.
- Marketing: keep a small amount for boosted posts on Facebook and Instagram.
How to price
Add up the oil cost per bottle, the bottle, label, box and your delivery cost. Then check what attar shops near you charge for a similar 12ml. Many resellers price at two to three times their total cost, but your market sets the real limit.
Where to sell
- WhatsApp and Facebook: start with family, friends and local groups.
- Instagram and TikTok: short videos of the bottle, the scent notes and reactions sell best.
- Local shops and mosques: offer small stock on credit to build trust.
- Weddings and events: bulk favours are a strong season from November to February.
